PoLI Institute at Vanderbilt Law School: Lawyer 2.0 Immersion Course
Unique to Vanderbilt Law School, the Certificate in Law and Innovation Program provides a series of in-depth, live and in-person Immersion courses (“Immersions”) that will be held at the Wond'ry innovation center on Vanderbilt’s Nashville campus. The initial curriculum includes 7 courses in 2019 and more will be offered in 2020.
Each PoLI Immersion course consists of two 8-hour days of experiential learning through collaborative and practical application of knowledge. PoLI Immersions provide relevant, powerful innovation tools for reimagining and transforming legal practice and services delivery. Lawyers receive their Certificate once they have completed 6 Immersions within 36 months.
Lawyer 2.0 Immersion Course
Innovation is a human endeavor, first and foremost. As we innovate our technologies, our processes, and our delivery of services, the legal profession also must innovate with respect to its most valuable asset: our lawyers. This immersion provides attendees with the information and tools necessary to meet that challenge. You will develop an action plan to take back to your organization; a roadmap to ensure the human side of the practice receives the same kind of focused attention as the business side. Because our people are our business, in every way.
